When will Blue Exorcist Season 3 be aired
The Blue Exorcist anime series has had over 37 episodes across two seasons so far, but what is the release date for its third season? We don’t know yet, but hopefully soon. What is Blue Exorcist?

There is also an OVA that has 9 episodes out already. The series follows the adventures of Rin Okumura as he fights against demons who are trying to take over the world. Yukio’s training is cut short, however, and he is kick out of the program along with Rin. Rin then goes and trains on his own to become a powerful exorcist who can save people from demons. The second season picks up years later, with Rin now an adult and member of the True Cross Academy, an exorcist school that he attends with his friends. However he learns that there’s something wrong happening in the school that may or may not be related to a conspiracy against him from enemies from his past.
What Has Happened So Far With The Blue Exorcist Anime Series?
Despite only having 13 episodes, the show still manage to be a popular anime series, with many praising the character development and storyline. The second season had 25 episodes, but only aired across seven months during the year of 2012. It then got its final release on February 3rd, 2013. Many fans were looking forward to the airing of season 3 at that time though it was unknown when it would come out.
Like a lot of shows with multiple seasons, “Blue Exorcist” is expecte to have a third and final season, though it has not been officially announce yet. The last that fans have heard from the show was in February 2016 where it was announce that the second OVA would be coming out before the end of that year.
